What you get
Everything in one locker.
Everything you run in, tracked
Shoes, gels, tops, socks, sunnies, watch — add it all, and every run lands on the gear you wore. Public numbers only ever come from runs you actually logged, never a typed-in guess.
- Every kind of gear, not just shoes
- Runs land on the gear you wore
- Lifespan bars for shoes, stock counts for gels
Kits for race day, long runs and trails
Group the shoes, gels, top and sunnies you run together into a kit. Pin runs to it and the kit earns its own kilometres, so race morning is one decision instead of ten.
- Name a kit for the race it was built for
- Kit kilometres from the runs you pin to it
- Share the whole loadout as one card or story
An advisor for gear, a coach for training
The Gear Advisor knows your locker and the catalog — ask what to race a hot half in. Opt in, and the Training Coach reads your real runs: what to run tomorrow, pace targets, race prep, and whether you did the session.
- Gear advice from your locker and the catalog
- Workouts, pace targets and race prep from your runs
- Opt-in, private and deletable anytime
A calendar that fills only when you say so
Put races, training blocks and workouts on a private calendar. The coach reads it alongside your runs and proposes sessions in chat — nothing lands until you tap Add to calendar. Mark each session done or skipped as you go.
- Races, blocks and workouts in one month view
- Coach proposals land only on your click
- Private to you, never on your public page

@subrunkev →Questions runners ask
What does “verified mileage” mean?
Public mileage only ever comes from runs you logged in the app or uploaded as FIT/GPX files, assigned to a specific shoe. Typed-in lifetime totals stay private to you — the public number is the one with receipts.
Is my Strava data shown publicly?
Never. Strava-synced runs are visible to you alone — they never appear on public pages or in public mileage, and they are deleted within 24 hours if you disconnect. See the privacy policy for the full rules.
What can the AI features see?
The Gear Advisor sees your locker and the shoe catalog — never your Strava activities. The Training Coach can use your training data only after you explicitly opt in, and you can opt out at any time. Details in the privacy policy.
Can the coach change my calendar?
No. The coach can read your calendar and propose sessions in chat, but nothing is added until you tap Add to calendar. You can edit or delete anything it proposed, and race days are always yours to add.
Do I need Strava to use it?
No. Manual logging and FIT/GPX file uploads work on their own — connecting Strava just makes the locker build and update itself.
Does it cost anything?
It's free to start — no card needed. An optional Pro subscription unlocks higher coach limits. Claim your locker and see.
How do the shop links work?
Shoe pages link out to retailers. Some links are affiliate links — if you buy through them, the locker owner or SubRunGear may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Full details in the affiliate disclosure.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes — one button on your profile page deletes your account and its data immediately and permanently, and revokes Strava access. How data is handled along the way is in the privacy policy.
How do I get help?
Email hello@subrungear.com — we reply within two business days.
